Abstract
Samarkand is one of the oldest centers of human civilization, and its historical monuments represent an invaluable part of the world's cultural heritage. Among these remarkable architectural masterpieces, Registan Square occupies a special place. Registan has become not only a symbol of Samarkand but also of Uzbekistan as a whole. Throughout the centuries, it has served as a political, economic, scientific, and cultural center. Today, Registan Square is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the country and a globally recognized cultural heritage site.
