This study examines the role of expressive devices in shaping aesthetic and poetic meaning in English and Uzbek poetry. It explores how stylistic devices, including metaphor, simile, personification, epithet, symbolism, repetition, and alliteration, contribute to imagery, emotional expression, thematic development, and the aesthetic impact of poetic texts. The comparative approach identifies common features and distinctive characteristics of expressive language in English and Uzbek poetic traditions, emphasizing the influence of linguistic structures and cultural contexts on poetic interpretation. The study demonstrates that expressive devices function not merely as stylistic ornaments but as essential mechanisms for constructing multilayered poetic meaning and enhancing the artistic value of poetry.
