Abstract

This scientific article examines the role of therapy in modern medicine, its historical development, diagnostic approaches, treatment methods, and significance in the prevention of internal diseases. Therapy is considered one of the fundamental branches of clinical medicine that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting internal organs and body systems. The article discusses the major therapeutic disciplines, including cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Furthermore, modern therapeutic technologies, pharmacological treatment, physiotherapy, dietotherapy, and preventive medicine are analyzed. Special attention is devoted to the role of physicians in maintaining public health and improving patients’ quality of life.
