THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of collaborative learning on students' academic performance. By examining various collaborative instructional strategies, the research highlights how peer-to-peer interaction, group problem-solving, and shared responsibility contribute to deeper cognitive processing and knowledge retention. The findings indicate that collaborative learning environments foster higher engagement, improve critical thinking skills, and significantly enhance academic outcomes compared to traditional teacher-centered instruction. Furthermore, the study explores the role of social interaction in facilitating academic success and offers practical recommendations for educators to effectively integrate collaborative techniques into their curricula.
