SOCIAL PROTECTION SYSTEM IN THE KHIV KHANATE.
Abstract
This article analyzes the specific features of the social protection system in the Khiva Khanate, its formation and principles of operation. It highlights the role of endowment properties, zakat, alms, charity, as well as state and religious institutions in supporting the segments of the population in need of social protection. Also, the historical experience of providing social assistance in the Khiva Khanate and its importance in ensuring the stability of society are evaluated based on scientific sources. The results of the research serve to reveal the specific aspects of the social protection system during the khanate and to study the social history of Uzbekistan.
