PEDAGOGICAL EFFECTIVENESS OF GAME TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS
Abstract
The thesis examines the pedagogical effectiveness of game technologies in teaching foreign languages to primary school pupils. The purpose is to define how game-based activities can support motivation, vocabulary retention and elementary communication. The study is based on literature analysis, pedagogical modelling and classroom-oriented observation criteria. The main result is a compact model of game-based foreign language teaching for primary pupils. The thesis argues that a game becomes pedagogically effective only when it is connected with a clear language aim, age-appropriate rules and feedback.References
