Mazkur maqolada o‘smir yoshlarda hayotiy ko‘nikmalarni shakllantirish va rivojlantirishda ijtimoiy-hissiy ta’limning (SEL – social-emotional learning) ahamiyati, nazariy asoslari va amaliy tatbiqi tahlil qilinadi. Yoshlarda emotsional barqarorlik, ijtimoiy hamkorlik, muammolarni hal qilish va fuqarolik mas’uliyatini rivojlantirishda SELning o‘rni ochib beriladi. Shuningdek, davlat siyosati va maktab tajribalari asosida SELning O‘zbekistondagi amaliyot va istiqbollari ilmiy jihatdan tahlil qilinadi.
